School Lunches

We are very fortunate to have a school kitchen on site and our meals are cooked by Planet Bake.  The menus are selected to encourage a healthy, balanced diet.  Children sit in 'families' with the older children taking responsiblity for serving the younger children on the table, encouraging table manners and being role models.

We can cater for individual dietary requirements due to any food allergies or intolerences, religious or ethical beliefs please let us know so we can make alternative arrangements.

Any allergies and intolerences must be accompanied and supported by medical documentation from the child's GP or other medical professional.

School lunches are ordered through the Arbor portal/app.  Payment will be requested at the time of ordering.  Detailed instructions are below.

Charges

KS2 (Years 3, 4, 5, 6) £3.16 per day

KS1 (Reception, Years 1 & 2) No charge

Nursery  £3.16 per day

Please ensure your child's meals are ordered and paid for in advance.

Portions and "seconds"

Some children may want bigger portions or "seconds".  While we are delighted that they have a healthy appetite, the portions served in our school are measured to ensure that they are equal and that they meet the recommended daily allowances.

Our menus fully comply with food standards on nutrition and portion size.  They contain at least two portions of fruit and vegetables per meal and every meal is served with vegetables and/or salad as standard.
