Applying for a School Place
Is your child starting Reception in September 2027? If you'd like to visit our friendly, nurturing school, please book onto one of our open days using the QR code, this link or contact the school office. Our formal open days are at 9:30am on the following dates:

If your child lives in Nottinghamshire, and you require a school place for September 2027, applications are made through Nottinghamshire County Council (applications open Monday 2nd November 2026).
The application deadline is Friday January 15th 2027 for entry in September 2027. Primary school National Offer Day is Friday 16th April 2027.
Transition into Reception
Helping children transition into joining our school is incredibly important to us, we want to make the process as smooth as possible by removing the unknown and hopefully reducing stress and anxiety around joining school.
We believe that the best transition into the reception class at All Saints is by attending sessions at the school nursery. This develops children's familiarity with the school and trust with staff, helps to develop friendships with classmates and introduces school-day routines.
We also offer a comprehensive transition programme for children that don't attend the our nursery. This consists of:
Reception Family Picnic
This provides an opportunity for children and their parents to visit the school in a relaxed atmosphere and meet the other reception families and school staff. This will be held on Tuesday 8th June 2027 (12pm - 2pm).
Reception 2027 Transition Visits
Four (optional) afternoon visits for children to get to know their classmates, school staff and the school environment. These will be 1pm - 2:30pm on the following dates:

Transition Day
This is the whole-school transition day - all children in school spend the day in their new class in preparation for September. It is strongly recommended to attend to help support your child's transition into school. Transition Day is Tuesday 13th July 2027 (8:30am - 3pm) followed by a curriculum evening for parents at 3:10pm.
