Values
Love, Trust, Challenge, Support
As a Christian school our core values flow through all aspects of school life. We have high expectations with regard to manners, behaviour, respect and kindness. We encourage all members of our school family to display these values each and every day in all they do.
Love
1 Corinthians 13:4-8 "Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonour others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails."
Trust
21 Daniel answered, “May the king live forever! 22 My God sent his angel, and he shut the mouths of the lions. They have not hurt me, because I was found innocent in his sight. Nor have I ever done any wrong before you, Your Majesty.”
23 The king was overjoyed and gave orders to lift Daniel out of the den. And when Daniel was lifted from the den, no wound was found on him, because he had trusted in his God.
Ethos
Our school will preserve and develop its unique religious character in accordance with the principles of the Church of England and the Methodist Church and also in partnership with churches at parish, diocesan and circuit level.
We strive to serve our community by providing the best possible education within the context of Christian belief and practice whilst also encouraging an understanding of the meaning and significance of faith.
