Welcome

Welcome to our school website which I hope you will find both interesting and informative. All Saints Anglican/Methodist Primary school has always been an important focal point of village life and shares close links with both churches. The school offers a warm and friendly environment for both children and their parents and it fosters a caring atmosphere for all who attend or visit the school. Although our catchment area is the villages of Elston, East Stoke, Sibthorpe & Thorpe we have many children join the school from further afield due to our reputation for being caring, friendly and helping children to achieve.

We value academic achievement and our aim is to provide the best education we can for all our children so that they enjoy their early years of schooling. However we also acknowledge that children can achieve in other ways and we foster and encourage such achievements. The children are supported well in their learning by dedicated staff, governors and parents. Together we hope to provide the children with a firm foundation for the future.

We think the best recommendation that a school can have comes from its parents. So below are some quotes that parents wanted including on the website.

  • "All Saints School Elston is a friendly, warm school where children are encouraged and supported."
  • "Children and parents are made to feel welcome at All Saints School by all the staff and the Head Teacher."
  • "The class assemblies give parents the opportunity to have an insight into the school day."
  • "All Saints School provide children will social skills, expected behavioural qualities and values"
  • "Our children are raring to go to school each morning and always come out of school at the end of the day with smiles on their faces, full of all the activities they have done and new things they have learnt."
  • "As parents we especially appreciate the fact that we are always welcome in the school, and that we are regularly invited in to see the children present to us newly acquired information and skills."
  • "As a parent of a child with special educational needs I would like to say a big thank you to the school for recognising his needs and for helping us as a family to obtain the help and resources he required and for supporting his use of these resources in school."

Our school motto is ‘Towards Wisdom, Excellence and Faith’ and we believe that working in an atmosphere where you are encouraged to have a go and try your best helps us to attain the results we achieve. We hope this site gives you a feel of what the school is all about, however if you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact.
