Helen Wilkinson has two children at the school, in Years 4 and 6. She lives in Newark. She is member of Barnbygate Methodist Church. She is a Trustee of Newark foodbank and works for the Association of Independent Museums. Helen has a PHD in Museum Studies.

 

Rev. Helen Nice lives in Southwell and enjoys looking after four Methodist Churches: Elston, North Muskham, Southwell and Sutton on Trent. Helen and her husband Nigel have two grown-up children and a lively grandson. She enjoys reading, singing, drawing and growing anything edible. In the past she studied Natural Sciences, and has had a varied career before entering the ministry.

 

Scythia Cross has been a solicitor for over 20 years and spends much of her spare time on the side of a football pitch watching her sons. When not working or taking the role of taxi service/football supporter, she designs and makes millinery for all occasions.

 

Alex Kinnear-Mellor has a marketing, design and PR company. She lives in Elston with her husband, Dr Rex, their dog Ellie, who was born blind and two cheeky cats named after famous Admirals: Fisher and Beattie.

 

Lisa Richmond is the Head Teacher of our Primary School. She lives with her husband Paul and two grown up sons.  When she is not at school she loves nothing more than spending time with her family, travelling and shopping for shoes! She loves to learn and her current project is ballroom dancing - well, the shoes are quite lovely! 

 

Rev. Liz Murray was licensed at All Saints, Elston Church on 13 October 2013. Her parishes are: East Stoke, Elston, Kilvington with Alverton, Staunton with Flawborough, Shelton, Sibthorpe and Syerston, with 7 open churches (and churchyards) in all. She began her working life in the textile industry, which she stayed in for 25 years. She has two children, Rebecca and William.

 

Melanie Ruben has two children at the school, in Reception and year 2. She lives in Newark and is also a Governor at Christ Church Infant School. She has worked in the construction industry for the majority of the past fifteen years in various roles and currently works for an electrical services company in Newark.

 

Sarah Dennis worked in the education sector for 26 years. She worked in a number of secondary schools, further education colleges and in a variety of roles from teaching to management. She enjoys spending time with her family, walking and travelling around the country watching major sporting events.
